Government Polytechnic, Mandi Adampur (Hisar) was established under the name of Government Institute of Management & Pharmacy in the year 1985 (20/09/1985) with the aim to enhance employ ability of the youth by equipping them with latest technical skills for suitable employment through technical education.

At present the Institute is running 6 Diploma courses with approximately 600 students on roll under the guidance of well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. The institution is spread over an area of 18 acres consisting of administrative and teaching blocks, mulch-purpose hall, Boys Hostel, a Girls Hostel, Canteen, Play Ground and 22 staff residences.
